Meet Our Manager: Ron Waters
Ron Waters was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio. After 20 years of service as Executive Vice President and co-owner of a successful graphic arts electronic service agency, Ron relocated to Destin, Florida in 1999. Prior to relocation, Ron also co-owned a residential property investment company where he managed and maintained several multi and single-family properties in Ohio and Destin for nearly ten years. Prior to his relocation to Destin in 1999, Ron successfully completed the educational and licensing requirements of the State of Florida to become a Community Association Manager (“CAM”). He then joined the team of professionals at Suncoast Association Management in Destin. During his tenure with Suncoast, Ron managed several beachfront hi-rise condominiums which consisted of one 88-unit hi-rise and a 96-unit hi-rise. Ron also managed the master association for a194-unit beachfront community. While at Suncoast, Ron gained extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in every facet of condominium management, including participation in the complete renovation of an 18-story gulf-front condominium. When Ron joined Hidden Dunes in August of 2005, he brought to the table extensive experience in business management and successful leadership skills, all of which have enabled him to establish rapport with and gain the respect of homeowners and the Board of Directors. These proven talents permit enhancement of the property and value of the community. Ron has over 25 years of experience in human relations, including hiring, supervision, directing, training and developing employees. He currently manages a staff of 20-plus employees. His responsibilities related to business administration and operations include facilities management, contract management, and responsibility for the creation and oversight of the annual budget. Ron is an excellent observer of our community and its needs. Ron consistently demonstrates a dedicated professional attitude and willingness to work and assume the leadership of the Hidden Dunes staff.
